Teeth Whitening

This is the most commonly prescribed cosmetic dental procedure. While many whitening options are now available, dental professional supervised treatments remain the recommended procedures for lightening discolored teeth. Dental professionals have access to bleaching solutions that cannot be purchased over the counter. Thus, choosing a clinic with trustworthy teeth whitening services is important.

Spa Dent – Light Activated Teeth Whitening

The Spa-dent whitening process provides the maximum whitening benefit, in the least amount of time, with virtually no sensitivity. The revolutionary gel formulation is placed in our dual arch mouth trays with the precise dosage of whitening material. The unique blue and red LED light activates the gel, providing powerful whitening with cellular stimulation. Hydroxyl radicals penetrate the tooth enamel to break down stains into progressively smaller particles. This process will penetrate but not harm or damage the tooth enamel, including caps, crowns, and veneers. The effect whitens the whole “smile” area of your teeth.

Teeth Whitening Home Tray Kit

Option 2) We also offer a spa dent whitening tray with the gel solution that clients use for 10 days. (Activated light not included in this option)

Oral Health Assessment

Head and neck screening for oral cancer. Under the gum examination and monitoring for gum disease. Brackets, bone loss, and receding gums.

Teeth cleaning is part of oral hygiene and involves the removal of dental plaque from teeth to prevent cavities (dental caries), gingivitis, and periodontal disease. People routinely clean their teeth by brushing and interdentally cleaning, and dental hygienists can remove hardened deposits (tartar) not removed by routine cleaning. Those with dentures and natural teeth may supplement their cleaning with a denture cleaner.

Teeth Cleaning

Our professional cleaning includes tooth scaling and tooth polishing and debridement if tartar has accumulated. This is done both above and below where the gum meets the tooth.

Pit and Fissure Sealants

The top surfaces of your teeth – where the chewing takes place – aren’t smooth and flat. They are crisscrossed with tiny hills and valleys – called pits and fissures. These are places where plaque can build up, safe from your toothbrush and dental floss. Some of the pits and fissures are so narrow that even a single bristle from your toothbrush can’t get deep enough to clean them out.

One method of preventing cavities from developing in the pits and fissures is to seal them off with a special plastic coating called a pit and fissure sealant. If your health professional determines that you need a pit and fissure sealant to help protect your teeth from decay, some special steps are taken to prepare the teeth first. Your health professional will clean the tooth first, then, apply a mild acid solution to ‘etch’ the surface and make it easier for the pit and fissure sealant to stick. The whole procedure is quick and painless.

Keeping the area dry and away from your saliva during the application is very important. If the tooth gets wet, the sealant might not stick properly. Once everything is ready, your dentist ‘paints’ the sealant right over the pits and fissures on the tooth surface. A special kind of light cures the sealant and makes it ready for use.
